I bought the PRD-715 because I needed something faster than my Devilbiss DV1 Clear gun on total respray jobs. It's definitely a hose that puts a lot of volume out if you want and the fan will open up to about 15" all while atomizing very fine.

Great budget gun!! Gun preformed great I paint commercial utility beds and large dump beds and use single stage urethane and the porphis phs155 did a fantastic job I also paint car's using basecoat clearcoat and I'll be purchasing the porphis 717 slite tip gun I can only imagine how well it sprays .

High quality gun for an affordable price----I’m a tech Rep for a paint distributor in Calgary Alberta Canada and I demo a lot of high end spray guns and I put PRD-717 above a Devilbiss DV1. Well built, durable, and atomized quite fine and feels like a mix between a SATA and an Iwata as far as the way it sprays. Atomizes fine like Iwata, yet it put a bit more material out like a SATA. Very comfortable in the hand and the quality is evident when you take it apart to clean. Very impressed with this gun.
