Small compressor, great results
– No upgrade needed.

Many DIY users don’t realize until after buying a spray gun that their home compressor just can’t keep up. The pressure drops, atomization falls apart, and the finish ends up rough as sandpaper.
The PRD‑510 uses LVLP (Low Volume Low Pressure) technology, consuming only 160 L/min (5.7 CFM) — far less than traditional HVLP spray guns (12–15 CFM). Your existing small compressor (8–24L) can drive it with ease, so you don’t have to upgrade your equipment. The money you save can buy you several cans of good paint.

Set it and forget it
— Consistent spray every time.

Many entry‑level spray guns have a simple air valve design. Even a small pressure fluctuation can make the fluid delivery fluctuate — the spray pattern you just tuned starts to warp after a few passes. The result is an uneven finish that requires rework and sanding.
The PRD‑510 features a patented integrated air valve structure, with precisely engineered air passages for better sealing and more stable pressure output. Combined with a smooth trigger, it delivers consistent fluid flow whether you spray continuously or intermittently, giving you a uniform, smooth finish. The time you save from rework is enough to spray another part.

Non-slip grip, even with paint on your hands.

During spraying, your hands inevitably get paint or solvent on them. Ordinary smooth gun bodies tend to slip, forcing you to grip harder. Your wrist quickly tires, and your spraying precision suffers.
The PRD‑510 features a forged aluminum body with a non‑slip grip design. Even with oil or paint on your hands, you maintain a firm hold. Combined with its lightweight body (only 460g), it won't fatigue your hands during long sessions, letting you focus on the finish instead of fighting with your tool.

Tool-free, quick-clean, no clog
— Cleaning made simple.

After each spray session, does cleaning your gun always feel like a “tool battle”? Finding wrenches, unscrewing bolts, removing springs, parts dropping everywhere… Even worse, after spraying clear coat, a layer of hardened paint builds up in the air cap and nozzle, causing clogs the next time you use it.
The PRD‑510 features a modular quick‑release design. Core components can be disassembled by hand — no tools required. The fluid passages in the air cap and nozzle are optimized to resist paint buildup, greatly reducing the chance of clogging. When you‘re done spraying, just take it apart, soak it, rinse it — a few minutes and it’s done. Your tool stays in top condition, ready to spray the next time you pick it up.

FAQs - PRD-510

Can I spray clear/basecoat straight out of the box?

A:For best results, we recommend a "first‑spray system test" before loading paint. Simply add a small amount of thinner to check the fan pattern and fluid flow. This also lubricates the needle seal and ensures your first coat is flawless.

Does your spray gun have high air compressor requirements? Do I need complex air drying equipment?

A:Compared to traditional guns, our LVLP core technology optimizes air passages and reduces sensitivity to ambient humidity by about 15%. Nevertheless, to achieve a mirror‑like finish (especially for high‑gloss clear coats), we still recommend installing a simpleoil‑water separatorin the air line. This ensures fine, stable atomization regardless of season.

My compressor is only 8L / 2HP – can it run the PRD-510?

Absolutely. The PRD-510 consumes only 5.7 CFM (160 L/min). A small 8–24L compressor can easily drive it – no need to upgrade.

Is LVLP spraying very slow? Is it suitable for painting an entire car?

A:That's a common misconception. Although LVLP is known for low air consumption, our High‑Flow control technology allows a generous fluid output even at low pressure. For spot repairs, it's as precise as a scalpel; for whole‑car painting, simply pair it with a 1.4mm or 1.5mm nozzle. The actual application speed is comparable to conventional spray guns, while saving you about 30% of paint waste.

Are the air cap and nozzle durable? Will they scratch as easily as other brands?

A:Our air caps are made of high‑hardness aviation aluminum with a secondary hardened anodized finish. Every nozzle set is visually inspected before leaving the factory to ensure no burrs or scratches. Even under prolonged solvent exposure, the wear‑resistant surface stays smooth, preventing paint buildup and making cleaning extremely simple.

Do you offer different nozzle sets? Is it difficult to change them?

A:Yes, we offer complete sets from 1.3mm to 1.8mm. Unlike compatibility issues found with some competitors, our needles, nozzles, and air caps are module‑precision matched. Using just one wrench, you can swap the set in under a minute, allowing your spray gun to seamlessly switch between primer, basecoat, and clear coat.

Will the needle seal leak and cause dripping or paint leakage?

A:Our LVLP series uses high‑precision Teflon sealing components with needle and nozzle that are lapped together. Even under heavy use, the needle returns fully to stop dripping. If accidental impact damages the seal, our design allows tool‑free quick adjustment of seal tightness.

What's the advantage over competitors like the InoKraft Drizzle D1 PRO?

A:In the same price range, the PRD-510 offers higher durability (all‑metal core), lower air consumption (5.7 CFM), and higher transfer. Many users report that its atomization uniformity and trigger control are better than similarly priced competitors.
